Aware that our commitment is also to the natural environment in which we operate, the Sustainability Department of the Yetwene Project has developed a systemic and integrated approach to the entire project area and its surroundings, in order to minimize the environmental impact of mining, while also seeking to restore vegetation that has been removed.
So far, approximately 70 Leucenas and over 90 Chinese Acacias have been replanted. This is only the beginning of a structured Project of intervention for the landscape replacement of the concession area.
